As a Flagman at Ayvaa, you play a central role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic management at road and construction sites. You work on-site and are responsible for regulating traffic correctly according to the established traffic control plan (TA-plan). The role requires attention to detail, responsibility, and good teamwork skills as you collaborate daily with colleagues and other professional groups on location.

You contribute to creating a safe working environment for both traffic participants and employees, representing the company through professional and service-oriented conduct.

As a Flagman at Ayvaa, you will:

• Manually regulate traffic at roadworks according to the current TA-plan.
• Use flags and/or signal lamps clearly and safely.
• Communicate with colleagues via communication tools to coordinate traffic flow.
• Ensure the work area is protected from passing vehicle traffic.
• Inform traffic participants regarding diversions and waiting times.
• Ensure that personal protective equipment is used correctly.
• Be attentive to unprotected traffic participants such as pedestrians and cyclists.
• Contribute to a safe and professional working environment.

Desired profile:

• Category B driver's license.
• Own car to commute to various job sites in Greater Stockholm.
• Clean criminal record (extract must be presented upon employment).
• Available for work throughout the Stockholm area.
• Good physical condition.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full-time with varying working hours (may include early mornings and late evenings, no fixed end time).

Merits:

• APV 1.1–1.4, 2.1, and 2.2.
• Training in First Aid and CPR.
• Previous experience as a flagman or work in traffic safety, construction, or civil engineering.

You remain calm in high-pressure traffic situations and have a clear safety mindset in everything you do. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a team and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

Other details:

Start: Immediately
Working hours: Full-time with varying start and end times. Ranging from very early mornings to late evenings.
Location: Northern part of Greater Stockholm
Employment type: Full-time, fixed-term employment with a good chance of permanent employment for the right person.
